Uganda’s gospel powerhouse Benard Feni, popularly known as Mungu Feni, has once again demonstrated that for him, family comes before luxury, convenience, or cost.
The House of the Lord hitmaker set social media abuzz after it emerged that he chartered a private aircraft from Dubai to ensure he made it home in time to celebrate New Year’s Eve with his family in Uganda.
Mungu Feni had been in Dubai on a business trip when he reportedly missed his scheduled flight. The news did not sit well with his loved ones back home—especially his child—prompting the gospel star to make a bold and heartfelt decision.
Sources close to the artist reveal that the New Year’s celebration will be a private and intimate family gathering, centered on bonding and creating lasting memories rather than attending flashy public events.
Opening up about the emotional moment that drove his decision, Mungu Feni shared:
“I had to go all the way because I promised them. When I told them I had missed my flight, they were not happy. My child reminded me that I promised to be with them for New Year’s. To keep my promise, I had to sacrifice just to make her happy.”
Widely respected for his soul-lifting gospel music, Mungu Feni is also a seasoned entrepreneur and the visionary behind Euro Gold. He continues to balance faith, family, and business with remarkable grace.
As the year comes to a close, the celebrated artist has also teased major projects lined up for 2026, promising fans fresh music, impactful ministry, and new ventures within the entertainment space.
